Sarah E. Kapitko is an Associate with Murphy & Cistaro, LLC. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Kapitko served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable James M. DeMarzo, J.S.C. in the Morris County Family Part.
Ms. Kapitko is a graduate of the State University of New York – Binghamton, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in History in 2013. She received her juris doctor from Syracuse University College of Law in 2017. While attending the College of Law, Ms. Kapitko worked as a student attorney with the Legal Clinic, served as a volunteer with the Volunteer Lawyers Project, and interned in both the Appellate Division and the Major Crimes Unit of the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office.
Ms. Kapitko was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 2017, and is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, as well as the Morris County Bar Association. Additionally, Ms. Kapitko received training from the Rutgers University School of Social Work – The New Jersey Child Support Institute, as well as mediation and conciliation skills training from the Administrative Offices of the Courts.
Ms. Kapitko has given her time to help and serve others. Through the Foundation for Peace, Sarah helped construct a child care facility in the Dominican Republic and also helped coordinate relief shipments to Haiti after the 2010 earthquake.
